Kunwar Amar is a contemporary dancer from India. He was the Dance Contestant of Zee TV's dance reality show Dance India Dance (season 2). He later appeared in Channel V India's Dil Dosti Dance (2011).
Kunwar Amar was born Kunwar Amarjeet Singh in Indore, Madhya Pradesh to a Hindu Rajput family. His father and brother were government police inspectors. From a very young age, he was recognised as a performer, particularly as a dancer. Kuwar was raised inIndore . In Mumbai, he Came for the auditions in Dance India Dance ZeeTv Show, where he got a Great fame with his Dance Partner Shakti Mohan.He studied at the KC College in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Kuwar Amar was a dance teacher in a secondary school. He was later offered a lead role of Ray (Reyansh Singhania) in the TV Show Dil Dosti Dance.

Kunwar has a small family, including, his Father, Mother & 2 Elder brothers. He was named "Amar" (immortal) by the doctor who gave him CPR as a newborn.
